Reflecting on a Year of Growth and Collaboration: Partnering for Impact in 2023

As we approach the conclusion of what has been an extraordinary year, we are filled with gratitude for the remarkable organizations we’ve had the privilege to collaborate. Together, we’ve embarked on a journey of growth, innovation, and advocacy, making significant strides towards our shared mission of effecting positive change.

Here are just a few highlights from our collective journey in 2023:

1. Expanded Partnerships: We are thrilled to announce that we more than doubled the number of partners we serve. This growth speaks volumes about the collective commitment and need to provide funding and an increased presence in government from human rights organizations.

2. Grant Success: We are proud to report that numerous clients received federal and private foundation grants, providing essential resources to further their critical initiatives and programs.

3. Congressional Testimonies: Three powerful testimonies were provided in the U.S. Congress, amplifying the voices of those affected by human rights abuses and advocating for meaningful policy change.

4. Policy Roundtables: We had the honor of convening two Anti-Trafficking Policy Leader Roundtables in the U.S. Senate, bringing together key stakeholders to discuss vital legislation and strategies to combat trafficking.

5. State-Level Impact: We expanded our services to provide support for state-level policy development in numerous states, helping to shape policies that will have a tangible impact on communities across the country.

6. Executive Coaching: Our policy and development coaching with executives emerged as one of our most impactful services, empowering leaders to navigate complex policy landscapes and drive organizational growth.

7. Ascend Academy Launch: In a significant milestone, we launched our first e-course for Ascend Academy, Mastering the Art of Nonprofit Development Excellence with experienced leaders discussing everything from social media to grants and development plans.

As we turn our gaze towards the new year, our mission remains steadfast: to empower organizations like yours to make an even greater influence and impact in government and beyond. We understand the weight that rests on your shoulders, and we are committed to lightening your load while amplifying your voice.

In 2024, we invite you to join us in partnership. Your dedication and collaboration are essential as we continue our collective efforts to create a world free from exploitation and injustice. Here’s to a year of continued growth, collaboration, and impact. Let’s make 2024 our most impactful year yet!
